Chunky Heeled Sandals

These are actually my first pair of chunky heels. I used to think that chunky heels were not very appealing but now I love them and the fact that they are way more comfy to wear makes me love them even more.

This pair is from Aldo and I am absolutely in love with them.

Geometric Dress

I don’t own many pieces with busy patterns like this geometric dress, so this was definitely something fun and new to try out and I think it worked out pretty well. I added a skinny black belt to cut through the busy pattern and kept the rest pretty simple and neutral.

I wore this to work so I added a black blazer to keep it a little more professional. For the shoes I wore a neutral tan thick strapped flat sandal.

Loving these simple clean pieces from H&M. I’ve been really into buying these soft whites and neutral colors just because they are so versatile and work so well with my business causal work outfits.

The nautical striped blazer in the 3rd outfit was just a little fun piece to add to my ever growing collection of blazers 🙂

Nude Palette

I know I know, nobody uses the word “Nude” to describe the color of clothing but I think it’s the best description of the color of this blazer. A little history on this cute little number: I was eyeing this blazer for probably over a month and tried it on multiple times on multiple occasions before actually deciding to bring it home with me.

Work + Play + Neck Candy

Funny how the shape of a skirt can completely change the vibe of an outfit. I’m wearing two almost identical skirts with different cuts – one A-line (for play) and the other a pencil skirt (for work).

In other news, loving these two statement necklaces that took me out of my comfort zone of dainty understated neck blings (especially that leopard/cheetah head one…rawr!)

Pop of Color

I never knew how well a simple white top worked with military green pants. Added a pop of color with the mandarin colored bag.

On my feet I’m wearing these loafers from Aldo which I’m currently obsessed over thanks to the unique pattern and the neon yellow lining along the top.

Black & Blue

It’s finally starting to feel like Summer in NYC. I’ve never been that girl who felt a little black dress was a necessary closet item but after I wore this dress last weekend and saw how versatile it was…I hopped on the (very late) bandwagon.

I also added a cropped long sleeve top over this dress for the cooler evening.
